Firebird Breweries’ Himalayan and Mt. Everest beers now pouring at 10 spots across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Himalayan Pilsner and Mt. Everest Golden Lager are now on menus from Ashburn to Washington, D.C., with five Biryani Grill locations coming soon.

CHANTILLY, Va., September 29, 2026 — Firebird Breweries, the Chantilly, Virginia company behind Himalayan Pilsner and Mt. Everest Golden Lager, is now pouring at 10 restaurants, bars and stores across Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., with five more locations coming soon.

The beers

Himalayan Pilsner (4.5% ABV) is clean, bright and crisp, with pale malt sweetness, a lift of floral hop and a dry finish. Mt. Everest Golden Lager (4.0% ABV) is golden and smooth, with toasted-grain warmth and a touch of honeyed malt. Both come in 16 oz cans and are brewed in Washington, D.C. to pair with Indian, Nepali, spicy and world cuisine. AGNI, a Belgian-style wheat ale, is coming soon.

For restaurants, bars and stores

In Northern Virginia, Firebird is distributed by Select Wines of Chantilly. Businesses with a Virginia ABC license can request an account by emailing a copy of their license to sales@firebirdbreweries.com. Deliveries are usually scheduled for the following week. Details are on the Distributors page.
